CFTool is a data-fitting tool that takes 2D, weighted or unweighted data and applies fitting functions, producing a graphical output of the result. It works in two modes — with data files (.txt, .csv) or project files (.cfp). The data-file option is for quick fits, where you only want to save the data and quickly print or export a graph and fit information without worrying about saving a formatted graph. Projects save formatting and fit details along with the data in a dedicated file, which you can also reuse as a template for other similar data.
