CFTool
CFTool is an application written in Python® using the pyside6® API. CFTool is designed for easy fitting of numerical data, using either built-in or custom mathematical functions. It has a simple, intuitive interface and is very easy to use by anyone familiar with fitting of data.
CFTool is available for Windows, MacOS and Linux and is downloadable as a single self-contained Application Image in each case. This means that it doesn’t require a Python installation on the target machine. The only downside of this approach is that the app takes slightly longer to load than a conventionally installed app, due to the need to unpack and run the Python VM on startup. On the upside, it requires no installation and can be placed anywhere in the users workspace.
