CFTool is a data fitting tool that takes 2D, weighted data and applies fitting functions, producing a graphical output of the result. It has two modes of working, either with data files (.txt .csv) or project files (.cfp). The idea of the data file option is to allow for quick fits of data, where you only want to save the data and to print the fit and/or export the fit information, but not worry about saving a formatted graph. Projects enable you to save formatting and fit details along with the data in a dedicated file and to use that file as a template for other similar data.
